For beginner courses like PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver, no prior diving experience is required! You only need to be comfortable in the water and able to complete a basic 200-meter swim (or 300 meters with mask, fins, and snorkel) and a 10-minute float/tread water.
All standard scuba equipment rental is fully included in your course price. This includes a wetsuit, BCD, regulator set, mask, snorkel, fins, tanks, and weights. You are also welcome to bring your own personal gear if preferred.
With PADI eLearning, you complete all reading, videos, and quizzes online on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop at home. Once you land in Labuan Bajo, you can skip the classroom entirely and jump straight into practical pool session training and ocean dives!
All students must complete a standard PADI Medical Statement before diving. If you answer "Yes" to any medical conditions (e.g., asthma, heart conditions, sinus issues), you will need written approval from a physician prior to starting in-water training.
Yes! While Komodo is famous for strong currents, our experienced PADI instructors choose calm, protected bays and shallow coral reefs tailored specifically to student skill levels to ensure maximum safety and comfort during training.
We keep group sizes small (maximum 4 students per instructor) to maintain high safety standards. We recommend booking at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance, especially during peak diving season (April to November).
