Dive Preparation

Experience Level & Safety

Liveaboard diving in Komodo is best suited for certified divers, with the Advanced Open Water level recommended (or at minimum, completion of the Deep Adventure Dive).

Many dive sites extend beyond 18 meters, and drift diving is common. Our dive leaders carefully select sites each day based on weather, tides, and diver experience to ensure both safety and enjoyment.

Comprehensive dive briefings, proper safety equipment, and thoughtful dive planning are standard on every trip. With two experienced guides onboard, divers can be grouped according to their experience level for a more comfortable and personalized experience.

No individual dive sites are guaranteed.
