Liveaboard with Dive Komodo

How long is Dive Komodo liveaboard trips?

We offer minimum 3 days 2 nights and maximum 5 to 6 days. Longer trips are available upon requests. Options of trips duration are 3D2N, 4D3N, 5D4N and more upon requests.

What is the difference between liveaboard and daily dive trips?

A day trip is a diving excursion that is conducted on land, departing from the port of Labuan Bajo at 7:30 am and returning on the same day at 5:00 pm. Three dives are offered per day, with dive sites selected based on diving experience level and current conditions. On the other hand, a liveaboard trip is an overnight excursion where you can dive, eat, sleep, and repeat on a daily basis. The trip takes you to various dive sites within the Komodo National Park, with the dive guides selecting sites based on current conditions in the area. I have never been on the liveaboard before, how is it like? Is it worth a try?

If you’ve never been on a liveaboard before, it’s definitely worth giving it a try! Liveaboard trips offer a comprehensive diving experience and the chance to explore Komodo National Park, which is renowned for its exceptional diving opportunities. In addition to the underwater activities, you’ll also get to enjoy activities above the water such as trekking, visiting beaches, and simply having fun. So if you’re looking for a unique and memorable adventure, a liveaboard trip is definitely worth considering.

Which dive sites does the liveaboard cover? Is it including tour in Padar, Pink Beach, and other places?

Depends on the duration of your trip. 3D2N mostly covers central and north sites. No Padar and Pink Beach. 4D3N covers central, north and Padar 5D4N covers most of the sites in most areas, including south Rinca. Padar and Pink Beach are included.
Take longer trips if you want to cover all sites in Komodo.

Is it okay for beginner divers to dive at the best sites in Komodo?

Yes, it’s okay! We actually prefer certified ones, from open water up to professionals (dive master or instructors). We group divers according to their skills and experience levels. Those who are not experienced will be grouped with the same level. And those are experienced will be in the same group.

Do I get a private cabin if I join the liveaboard?

Yes! Everyone will be in private cabin. Couples are in the double bed cabin, singles are on the single cabin, and other can get the twin cabin (2 separate beds in a cabin).

What is daily dive trip with Dive Komodo?

Day trip is a land based diving trips, departs from the port of Labuan Bajo in the morning at 7.30 and return on the same day at 5 PM. Day trips offer 3 dives a day. Sites each day are chosen based on the diving experience level compare with the current conditions on the dive sites.

How long is daily dive trip in Komodo?

One full day! From 7.30 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon. The travel to the dive sites takes around two hours. The dive time takes up to 60 minutes or whenever you reach 50 bar air left on your tank. Just whichever comes first. On the other hand, a liveaboard trip is an overnight excursion where you can dive, eat, sleep, and repeat on a daily basis. The trip takes you to various dive sites within the Komodo National Park, with the dive guides selecting sites based on current conditions in the area. What do I get if I join daily dive with Dive Komodo?
