Flights

To get to Komodo, you must go to Labuan Bajo first. It is the only main entry gate to Komodo National Park.

There are daily flights from and to Labuan Bajo. Direct flights are through Jakarta, Bali, and Kupang. There are not yet international flights available.

You can search for suitable flights using www.traveloka.com or www.skyscanner.net.

We recommend that you first open a “private” browser window, otherwise, the prices might go up if you visit the sites multiple times. Prices go up in peak season and often sell out, we, therefore, recommend you book early if traveling in the months of July-September and over Christmas and New Year.

Please note that cancellations and last-minute schedule changes are not uncommon. Be careful with booking flights if you have ongoing connections. Always check with the airline carrier for the latest schedule when booking and for revised departure times the day before departure.

Guest with Less Mobility / Diffability

Labuan Bajo is still a young town undergoing fast development. In the current situation, the town can be challenging for visitors with less mobility. There are however door-to-door taxi services available and some accommodations have easy access.

When deciding the dates of your visit it is good to take into consideration the increased risk of waves during parts of the year; and also the bigger tidal differences around full and new moon every month. These conditions will make the in-water activities more challenging as well as boarding and getting off the boat in the harbor.

Dive Komodo always strives to offer good customer service and safe trips. We can help with arranging door-to-door taxi transport and our helpful crew and dive team will always go out of their way to aid whenever needed. The size of dive and snorkel groups can be reduced or an extra assistant can be provided to take extra care of you.

Please contact us to discuss how your diffability is affecting you and how we can find a way to make it work.
